STORIES OF TRIALS AND TRIUMPH

“The land flourished because it was fed from so many sources–because it was nourished by so many cultures and traditions and peoples.” ― Lyndon B. Johnson

For centuries our parents and fore-parents traveled in search of a “better life” for themselves and their families. Boy do they know what sacrifice is. As luck would have it  or perhaps those who
played their cards right gained tremendous success, while others well, not so much.

For us immigrants we know that the road to a better life whatever that means is not paved with gold. Some of us are still searching for that dream, some of us have found it, others of us have relinquished it. Many have not seen their families back home in ages, still trying tomake that “bread”.

The journey whether pleasant or poignant are endless and deserves to be told.

We would love to hear your reasons for emigrating, tell us how you fared or are  faring in a foreign land. We promise anonymity should you wish.
