Lerbie-St. Lucian Artist To Perform Live
Miami, FL June 10, 2017: Dwight ‘Lerbie’ Emmanuel will be performing live June 17th, 2017 at Klah-Sik Promotions Father’s Day Jam. Sharing the stage with Antiguan band Onyan Effek, formed by the original lead singer of Burning Flames, at the Omega Activity Center in Opa Locka, FL located at 15600 NW 42nd Ave, Opa Locka, FL 33054. Klah-Sik Promotions has been around for 2 years and their motto, ‘Bringing the community together with love,’ reflects just what their goal is with their second annual Father’s Day Jam. Tickets for the Father’s Day Jam are $30 dollars in advance and $40 at the door.
Lerbie is the very first Lucian to perform at one of Klah-Sik Promotions events. Lerbie said that he is very excited and nervous about his first live performance but is looking forward to it.
“It is something I never thought would happen to me here,”Lerbie said, “I am looking forward to continuing to get my music out there and join in the efforts to raise the visibility of my beautiful island home St.Lucia. I want to see the Lucian flag at every Caribbean and International event.
The Lucian artist is multitalented and doesn’t just sing and write. He will also be accompanying Fiya-Wuk Band as their drummer. Fiya-Wuk Band has been established for 15 years and has performed at Jerk Fest and performed during the tribute to Grammy Award winner Carlos Santana.
The ban leader Jason took note of Lerbie’s skill and passion.
“I am excited to have Dwight as our drummer. I am impressed by his hunger for music,” Band Leader, Jason ‘Skinman’ said.
Lerbie said being recognized for his passion is very gratifying. Being part of a band has been a lifelong dream.
Lerbie encourages everyone to come out and support him, attend the event and have fun.
“The support is everything, without the support of the people I would not be where I am now so I encourage everyone in the Miami area and everywhere especially all St. Lucians to come out and know my face and know my music,” Lerbie said. “I want to put St. Lucia on the map.”
