WOMAN RISE!
11/24/2015By: Phyllis Wilson
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you’re half naked in the streets with parts of your body hanging out.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you’re drunk like a fish and have no idea how you got home, who took you home, and who you exposed your children to.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you call your children derogatory names at home,
even in the presence of others.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you have no idea who sleeps in your home with your teenager,
while you’re out getting high.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you hardly know the whereabouts of your children.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When your money is spent on clothing, fake hair, nails, and all kinds of junk,
instead of your children’s needs.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you yell at your children because some man made you angry.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When your self esteem is so low that you think there is nothing good in life for you.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you must have what your friends have, not knowing how they got it.
Rise, woman. Rise!
When you quit praying and offering your family to God in prayer, because you feel hopeless.
Rise, woman. Rise!
When you think you should go to bed with every man who says you’re beautiful.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you’re so afraid of the man who abuses you and your children yet can’t confide in anyone.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!
When you call the woman who shares a man with you “a HATER” (whatever that means) yet still make love to, sleep with, and have sex with that same man who clearly disrespects both of you.
Rise above that, woman. Rise!

Loved this one. I am not a perfect mother I may have to put some lines into practise myself. Accepting the truth, as I strive to be a better parent to my beautiful daughter.
